Dad Hotel

4-star Dad Hotel is a 90 years old building in the historical center of Yazd, the 3000 years old adobe city and situated next to the well-known cultural heritage sites such as the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and Amir Chakhmaq Complex. Since 1927 until 1993, the building was a hostel and a kind of market place. Afterward, the building was modified retaining its historic identity and since 2001 has been running as a classic Iranian residence. The hotel has a unique architecture, using a combination of straw and brick, one of the oldest materials used by desert dwellers, along with beautiful arches, and wooden windows. Moreover, Dad Hotel has 88 rooms on 2 floors with classic architecture and modern amenities. The digged courtyard, a part of the traditional architecture of Yazd, gives the hotel a unique look. In addition, the Dad Hotel provides various halls for conferences and celebrations, outdoor restaurant, café on the rooftop, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and Spa. The hotel gains the German Studiosus Award for customer orientation in 2009.
