Tabatabai House
Tabatabai House is a historic house museum and one of the top Kashan points of interest which represents the lifestyle of Kashan royal families during the 19th century. In addition, this building, famous as “the Bride of Iran” is a masterpiece of Iranian ancient architecture that follows the culture and climate of the region. Borujerdi House

For instance, Borujerdi House, the former residence of Haj Agha Hassan Borujerdi, is a historic Qajarid building located in the heart of the Kashan historical context. Abbasi House (Abbasian Historical House)
Abbasi Historical house is an outstanding example of Persian-Islamic architecture and one of the must-see Kashan attractions. The complex was built on an area of over 5000 square meters with an infrastructure of about 7000 square meters and consists of 5 floors and 5 yards. Furthermore, lattice, stucco reliefs, mosaic windows, and carvings are the feature of the house’s decoration. Fin Garden
Fin Garden is a beautiful and spectacular garden in Kashan that is one of the Iran UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Additionally, this garden with tall trees, fountains, and cobblestone flooring is one of the top Kashan attractions.
Firstly, the garden area is over 33700 square meters and, due to its royal appearance, is also famous as Shah “Garden”. Secondly, regarding the walls and towers that enclose the central courtyard, Fin Garden is an example of an Iranian castle-garden. It is noteworthy that, choosing this pattern and hiding the garden among the tall walls was because of the safety of its residents. However, the date of the construction of the garden is unknown; it could belong to the Sassanid, Safari or Albuye era.

Noushabad Underground City
About 1500 years ago, a Sassanid king drank some water from a well on his way. He enjoyed the cool and clean of the water and ordered to build a city in that place. He named the city “Noushabad,” which means “the town of drinkable water.” Nonshabad is an underground city with a complicated ventilation system, several entries and exits, and anticipation of all defense needs. Notably, it is the largest historical underground city in the world. Tappeh Sialk
In the southwest of Kashan, there is a hill called Tappeh Sialk, which is one of the important Kashan attractions. Moreover, this site is originally a historic ziggurat and the most important archaeological site in Iran. Roman Gierschmann, a famous French archaeologist, discovered this site about 90 years ago. According to his investigations, Tappeh Sialk is the oldest ziggurat among the 32 ziggurats in Iran and Iraq. Furthermore, this hill with about 7,000 years old, is one of the oldest prehistoric human settlements in Iran. Among the artefacts discovered in this site are a collection of pottery and metal utensils, as well as human bones. These artefacts which testify to the thousands of years of civilization in Iran are kept in the National Museum of Iran.

Abyaneh
On the way from Isfahan to Kashan, there is one o the most delightful Iran villages called Abyaneh. The first thing that impresses you when you enter Abyaneh and are the red houses of the village. In other words, the exterior of the houses is covered with red soil. Due to this soil’s color and the beautiful appearance of these houses, Abyaneh is called “Red Village.” On the other hand, this village’s height reaches 2222 meters above sea level, and therefore it is known as one of the highest residential points in Iran. The length of the historical texture of the Red Village is 900 meters, and its width is about 3 meters.
As the location of Abyaneh is on the slopes of the mountain, it has a semi-stair structure. So when you look at the village from a distance, you can see a multi-story village. In addition to the unique architecture, the traditional clothing of the villagers is one of Abyaneh attractions. Accordingly, women’s clothing includes a colorful dress over Shaliteh (a kind of skirt), floral scarf, long socks, and footwear. On the other hand, men wear long loose black trousers.
According to some evidence, the village belongs to up to 1500 years ago. Hence, Abyaneh is one of the oldest settlements in the region. Accordingly, there are works from the Sassanid, Seljuk, Safavid, and Qajar periods in the village can be a testament to this village’s antiquity.

Niasar
Niasar is a beautiful village located 30 km from Kashan in Isfahan Province. This district houses several historical and natural attractions. Notably, the beauty of nature and the pleasant climate of this region are distinct from the heat and dryness of the surrounding desert.
Niasar waterfall, with 25 meters height, is the most remarkable attraction in the area that formed its lush and unique nature. The source of this waterfall is a spring called Talar (Alexandria) which is located at the top of the waterfall and next to a Sassanid fire temple called Chartaghi. Also, there are 13 ancient water mills along the waterway that one of them has been repaired and is open to the public. Moreover, the waterfall had provided the water for a historic bath dating back to Safavid era. Besides, the environment around the waterfall is an excellent place to relax and have a picnic.
