National Museum of Iran
The National Museum of Iran is the most significant archeological and historical museum in the country and one of the must-see Tehran points of interest. Also, it is the Reference Museum or the Mother Museum for all museums in Iran. Accordingly, about 300,000 objects from different eras, the Paleolithic to the contemporary, are in this museum. Treasury of National Jewels (National Jewelry Museum)
Jewelry Museum is one of the best museums in Iran located in the basement of Iran Central Bank in Tehran. you can find some of the finest, most precious, and beautiful jewelry in Iran and even in the world. Tabiat Bridge
Tabiat Pedestrian Bridge is one of the modern Tehran points of interest and recreation centers. Notably, the construction of the bridge took 4 years and finished in 2014, its built area is 7680 sqm, and its length is 270 meters. Saad Abad Complex
The Saadabad Complex, with an area of 110 hectares, stands in the foothills of Darband in the Shemiran area of Tehran. Nowadays, the complex consists of 18 palaces, halls, and museums in a gorgeous garden and is one of the top Tehran points on interest. During the Qajar Dynasty in the 19th and 20th centuries, this complex was used as the royal family’s summer palaces. Two of these palaces, called the White Palace and the Green Palace, are open to visitors.

Sardar-e Bagh-e Meli (The National Garden Transom)
The National Garden is a historical and governmental complex surrounded by several museums such as the Malek National Museum, National Museum of Iran, and The Post & Communications Museum. This garden belongs to the Qajar era, and its fantastic entrance gate was constructed in 1906. Tall pillars and delicate tile-works decorate this brick gate called Sardar-e Bagh-e Meli. Azadi Tower
Azadi Tower, one of the must-see Tehran attractions, is the symbol of the capital of Iran. It is an inverted-V-shaped edifice made of white snow marble and dates back to about 50 years ago. Its amazing architecture is inspired by the Achaemenid, Sassanid and Islamic architectures. Notably, Azadi Tower is the symbol of Iran’s history and heritage mixed with contemporary art. Carpet Museum of Iran
The Carpet Museum of Iran, located next to Laleh Park, is one of the must-see Tehran attractions. This fantastic museum was created by Farah Diba, the last queen of Iran, and was established in 1979. The exterior design of this two-story museum’s building resembles a loom for weaving carpeting and represents contemporary architecture. Niavaran Complex
Niavaran Palace, located in the north of Tehran, used to be the royal residence during Qajar and Pahlavi dynasties and now is one of the top Tehran points of interest. With an area of 9,000 square meters, the complex consists of palaces and museums in a vast garden. Accordingly, the three main palaces in the complex are Niavaran Palace, Sahebgharanieh Palace, and Koshk-e Ahmad Shahi. Glassware & Ceramic Museum of Iran (Abgineh Museum of Tehran)
Glassware and Ceramic Museum, also known as Abgineh Museum, is one of the interesting Tehran attractions located in the vicinity of the National Museum of Iran. The building is a lovely 90-year old house that used to be the embassy of Egypt for a short time and has become a museum in 1980. Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMoCA)
Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMoCA) was established in 1977 on Kargar street near the carpet museum of Tehran and Laleh Park.
